Matagorda County Birding Nature Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) managed by volunteers and a working board of directors. The Nature Center operates on revenues consisting of entrance fees, event fees, memberships, fundraisers, grants and donations.

Memberships to the Matagorda County Birding Nature Center help support our operations, capital improvements and special projects. Memberships run for 12 months. Every contribution helps the Nature Center maintain its grounds and plan on future improvement projects that will benefit the whole community!​
