Have you ever seen a baby eagle? There’s one at the Matagorda County Birding Nature Center that will be making his debut soon, and the Nature Center is holding a Name the Eaglet Contest to give the eagle a name.

To enter, just fill out the Name the Eaglet form on the Nature Center’s website at mcbnc.org/NameTheEaglet. The best name from the entries will be chosen on March 25. The lucky winner will receive a Family Membership for one year, a piggy bank and a MCBNC tote bag. The Nature Center also will post the winner’s picture on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
